Susan Leff, Executive Director
Susan Leff joined the staff at UVM Hillel in January 2004. She is a graduate ('73) of Bennington College with a degree in Theatre. She holds a Master's in Education from UVM. She has been a resident of Burlington for 20 years and has 4 children. She sits on the Board of Temple Sinai in South Burlington where she has also taught 6th grade Judaica, and on the Board of Very Merry Theatre, a traveling children's theatre for whom she also designs and executes costumes. Nellie Goodman, Director of Jewish Student Leadership
Nellie has been a staff member at UVM Hillel since September, 2006.She loves to meet new people, hang out with all different kinds of Jews, farm, dance and travel to awesome places. Nellie graduated from UMASS/Amherst in 2004 and worked at the Hillel Council of New England before spending a year in Israel and on a Jewish organic farm in CT. She is excited to be living in Burlington and working with the vibrant and growing UVM Hillel community. Nellie is always open to answering questions or having a chat about life. She especially loves to talk about spirituality, organic farming and how to stay true to one's life dreams and goals. Greg Yellin, Engagement Coordinator
Greg Yellin started as a staff member at the UVM Hillel in August of 2009. He joined our staff after graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Jewish studies and World religions. Greg loves to cook, travel (he's been to 46 states), and go down the shore (to the beach if you're not from NJ). Before working at UVM Hillel Greg was a hebrew school teacher and USY/ Kadima advisor. He also really enjoys exploring cultural Judaism and finding out about peoples various customs and traditions. Greg is always up for a good chat, especially if it involves talking about last nights episode of Top Chef.
