Alternative Spring Break: Pittsburgh

We will be partnering with Repair the World for a weeklong immersive trip. Throughout the week we will be working with local partners to learn about food and education justice. We will also have the opportunity to speak with residents of Pittsburgh about how their community has come together since the tragic shooting.

Open Mic Shabbat

It’s back and better than ever!

Come by Hillel at 5:30pm on Friday, October 12 for an Open Mic Shabbat! Bring your songs, poetry, stories, and whatever else you’d like to share with our community. It can be something meaningful to you, something that makes you happy, something that reminds you of Shabbat, and/or anything else you can think of.

To accommodate for the extra time and to try to ensure that everyone who’d like to share has a chance to, services will start at 5:30pm instead of 6pm and we’ll be asking for volunteers to share throughout the service. Can’t wait to see you all there!!

If you have any questions or know for sure that you’ll be there and would like to perform, please email Alli Nemrow at
